B V Narasimham (Ravi), our Managing Director, joined Caspian in year 2005, and has been actively involved in all our equity investments across sectors and funds. Today, he oversees all day to day operations of the company and plays an active governance role in several portfolio companies.

 

Ravi has been engaged with financial inclusion and livelihoods promotion since the beginning of his professional career in 1993.  He began his career as a development consultant, studying the rural non-farm sector in India. He was part of the founding team of BASIX. His 24-year long career has spanned retail finance, wholesale finance, and equity investments. Ravi is passionate about working closely with start-ups/greenfield and creating value by developing these businesses into robust companies.
