Shilpa Sudhakar is a founding team member and helped establish Caspian along with founder Viswanatha Prasad in 2004. Between 2004-2020, she has played multiple roles - strategic as well as operational - in the organization, including onshore and offshore fund structuring, compliance, investment due diligence, fund raising, investor relations, fund operations, and governance. She has served on the Board of Caspian since 2004. Having stepped back from an executive role in 2018, she now serves in a non-executive capacity.

An avid reader, Shilpa  also owns and manages a curated and independent bookstore in Hyderabad called Luna.
